Removed Water Tubes
Remove the water tube from each orchid stem.

Submerge and Cut
Submerge the entire orchid in a deep container of room-temperature water. After soaking fro 15 to 20 minutes, take a floral knife and--holding each stem under water--slice about 1 inch from the bottom of each stem. Place the blooms in your vase

Place In Direct Sunlight
Keep your arrangement out of direct sunlight and away from heat. Recut the stems and change the water every 2 to 3 days.
